Dan - While not an Airstream it's history and look are similar.

The older Silver Streak's appear to be scarcer than same year 
Airstreams.  (My guess).

  Value is similar to an older Airstream. I just bought a 1957 Silver 
Streak Rocket  (Two Door) to restore.

Not much is available in the way of info.  You found one of the better 
sites with info about Silver Steaks.
