Re: [VAL] Wally Byam Holiday Trailer (1952-1954?)

Hi Colleen:

Wally Byam "Holiday" brand trailers are not very common. One has
surfaced and it can be seen here:

http://www.vintageairstream.com/archives1/53Holiday/53Holiday.html

There could be others out there, but if so they haven't yet found their
way home.

Besides the one shown above, Wally also produced a larger tandem
axle Holiday trailer. Production numbers are undiscovered, but based on
s/n 1094 that surfaced, we estimate single axle Holiday production at
100 units minimum, and likely more.

They are quite nice feature-packed trailers for their time. The
single axle Holiday has a floor plan that was soon adopted by the
Airstream 16' Bubble built from 1955 to 1957. Holidays qualify their
owner for membership in the WBCCI.
