Mark & Gerald,

I've given some thought to stranded wire, as I've heard that either DC or AC
travels better through it. It may turn out that Romex without ground is no
longer available. In that case I'll seriously look at stranded wire. I think
Gerald may be right that connectivity is more important though, and stranded
wire is more difficult to hook up.
