We have a 70 and I took out the old fans years ago and replaced with 
the FanTastic fan.
As I remember the bracket and fan was nothing special.  Just make a tin 
or strap iron bracket and attach a cheep 12 VDC  automotive type fan.  
The type used to keep truck windows fog free.
Don't make it into something it never was.  It was just a simple fan.
