Paul,

I know that is what it says on the glass, but we have sort of a side
discussion going. The etching on the glass says "Corning AS-2 solid 5H
chemically tempered m1 safety plate." It has been asserted that chemically
tempered glass is "chemically strengthened, not 'tempered' as the windows
are labeled." If it is true safety glass it will break into "little cubes."
So, I'm wondering if anyone has first hand information on how it actually
breaks. The ultimate test would be to break one, but I'm not volunteering.
