Dan, a friend of mine has a 66 tradewind (24') with the "wedding cake" tail
lights as well. That was a very common light in that era and what Airstream
happened to put on them at the time.

About the bed...If you are referring to the gaucho/sofa...yes the vast
majority of them pull out to sleep 2 people---assuming that you like to be
close!
