Daisy, It appears (from your picture) that you are missing a piece of trim. The giveaway would be if the existing vertical piece has a miter cut (45 degrees), which would meet the missing culprit. It looks like it might, but I can't quite tell.. Our '79 had the trim in this location. Chris K
