Re: [VAL] lighted flamingoes

When I got my Globetrotter it cried out for flamingoes to put in front of it
when I parked. Over the years, the parts of the flamingoes that hold the
legs have broken, so I have a collection of amputees which perch in an
evergreen when not in use elsewhere. I am trying to figure out how to make
a light out of these guys. I cut a hole in the bottom of one and put it over
an old lamp base but it isn't secured well so that the hot light bulb can
contact the plastic. My DD gave me a string of little flamingo lights to
hang on the front of the trailer, but I wanted one or two of the big ones for
yard lights.
