Re: [VAL] Nigtmare at Inland RV

Wow - I'm glad to see I'm not the only unhappy person. I recently ordered a
refrigerator vent scoop for my Caravel. The price on line was $337 - which in
itself is pretty steep for a piece of fiberglass, but hey it does have to do
with an RV. Well I get the scoop with the bill in the box and they had
allowed themselves an extra $25 crating charge to put the scoop in the cardboard
box with two pieces of bubble wrap and tape it up. Then they charged $60 to
ship it. I wish this were the worst part - the scoop is 6" shorter than the old
one so therefore it, when installed to meet the curvature of the trailer
ends 2" above the counter. The stories go on and on. The replacement light
fixture covers are junk. They don't fit without trimming the jagged edges. They
look like Andy baked them in the oven from some plastic kit. They don't bother
telling you when you order them that you would have to buy the $16.00 switch
to make them work. I think I'll take the warnings and steer clear myself.
