When boondocking, and your battery gets low, the Charge Wizard will sense
that and shift into boost mode. After all, the Wizard is sensing the
_battery_ state, not the InteliPower state. Since the InteliPower is not
receiving any AC power, the Wizard will stay in boost mode until you plug in
to shore power.

The Charge Wizard's internal circuitry senses the battery state and when
necessary, switches the InteliPower's mode. No AC necessary, but if the
InteliPower isn't plugged in, the Wizard tries again. That's why the light
cycles.

Nothing wrong with the unit. It just won't work when you are boondocking.
