[VAL] Polarity

Greetings,
My 65 Globe Trotter came with a two-pronged unpolarized power cord. I have
made many changes to the electrical system including an Intelli-power
w/Charge Wizard, AGM battery, new water pump, new water heater and furnace
(electronic ignition), etc. All systems work fine but I suspect that I
should have a three-pronged polarized power cord for safety and/or to
protect my appliances. My questions are: What are the potential downsides to
the current wiring, and how would I wire a  three-pronged, polarized power
cord? Thanks in advance.
