RE: [VAL] Re: VAL #321/ Pearls bottom problem

Patti,

Does "Pearl" ride low by design or because of bad springs? If its the
springs, a lift kit will fix the problem of the height not the reason.
Springs do wear out. You can have new ones made at any good spring shop or
they can re-arc the ones you have on the trailer. Know that if the springs
are shot, a re-arc will only last so long. When putting on new springs, the
shop should put new shackel bolts and brackets/bushings. This is comimg from
a person that has had many
old 50's and 60's cars with the same problem. New springs and bushings are
always a good idea. You will also find some sway will go away as well with
the new bushings.

Greetings Paul;
The reason her coach is riding so low is because when Jackson Center added a
New tank, they left the bottom of the tank about 3" off the ground. Adding
The lift kit will raise the coach giving her a little more clearance from
the
Pavement. With the condition she have now, you know what will happen around
The "Cross Bronx Expressway".
