         I had a flat on a single-axle ''72 Safari a few years back...no 
particular problem, except for damage to the wheel well, which was fixed at 
Jackson Center.  My only problem was the traffic on I-75 as I was trying to 
get the trailer jacked up to change the wheel.  Most trucks would move over 
when they saw me, if they could.  RVers were another matter - most just 
zoomed on by in the rightmost lane.  I was well off the road, but the air 
blast always set the trailer to rocking - not a fun experience, no matte 
how many axles.  I guess I was just lucky that there was no more damage done.
