[VAL] Re: Insurance

Hi Jim,

I haven't gotten the bill for a year yet, it's up for renewal in July,
but I've paid two months on it and was quoted $380 for the year. I like
having insurance other than liability. Last Aug. when the Hensley
crashed on my 03 Safari, Foremost covered the cost of the new Reese,
(emergency installation as I was upstate with the trailer) and the cost
of shipping the Hensley back to them for repair and the return postage.
That incident alone was more than one year's premium. I was told though
that if I had an accident with Pearl they would start with the $20,000
and I would need an Airstream dealer or the plant again to verify it's
actual value. They said it was possible that the value would be more
than I had it insured for. I like Foremost, I get to speak to the
underwriters and they understand the value of old Airstreams.
