Re: [VAL] Tail lights for'52 Cruisette
Chris:
I don't know what type of tail lights your 1952 Cruisette now has,
if any, or it at one time had, if any. It's difficult to recommend a
replacement to either match or approximate the originals if we don't
know what was there originally. Are/were your taillights round or
rectangular? There might be shadow or mounting hole hints if they are
long gone.
If round, here's a single light that just ended on Ebay that
approximates the look of a round tail light I've seen only in photos on
a Cruisette. I don't know whether it is correct, but it looks similar.
I don't know whether it is a single or double filament bulb (and
apparently neither does the seller, or if he does, he ain't' saying).
See:

[Taillights may also be seen HERE]
I don't know who made the light on Ebay; ask the seller for more info.
If your 1952 Cruisette original tail lights were rectangular Bargman
No. 2, then a new rectangular surface mount Peterson No. V306R dual
filament red pillow optic tail light would make a nice replacement until
you track down and restore an original set of Bargmans. A pair would
even be nice until you found some old round tail lights.
Good luck!
