Well, maybe things are looking up. I haven't had a single digest bounce come
back to me yet this morning, so maybe they are getting through.

I found a couple of individual mailings bounced back to me this morning, and
have sent messages to those subscribers whose mail bounced, suggesting that
they contact AOL and complain.

You might want to give the list of AOL subscribers to an AOL member who
volunteers and let him/her redistribute to the list of AOLers. If they
need special permission to do that the AOLers can deal with that with their
ISP.

I've used my stove for twenty years without running the vent fan, unless I
want to evacuate the steam from whatever it is I'm cooking. When I get into
the trailer, and it's really cold inside, first thing I do is light the
burners (and the catalytic heater) to warm the place up. I usually leave a
window cracked a bit, for fresh air, and let a small fan blow at the ceiling
to circulate the BTUs, but it hasn't killed me yet!
When I am boondocking I light the oven and set it at 300 while sitting
outside near the fire at night! By leaving it that way till I'm ready for bed~ the
trailer is Toasty and My carbon monoxide alarm has never gone off!
I turn it off when going to sleep and relite it in the am when starting the
coffee!

Thinking back on those years when I ran the VACList, it was the AOL
accounts they gave me the most trouble with AOL's proprietary email
format and refusal to follow Internet standards and protocol. AOL is
viewed as the beginners introduction to the Internet, but unfortunately
it is a bad representation of what is really possible.

Best of luck Tom,

Jim,
I got involved with PressurePro almost 2 years ago and was part of their
beta testing group. The product does work as described. The newer design
features an improved receiver as well as a stronger signal and longer
battery life for the sensors. The earlier design would indicate a missing
sensor periodically due to not receiving an update from the sensor in
question within a 5 minute period. The new design seems to have corrected
that problem. PressurePro has been outstanding in supporting the owners of
their product. Installation is easy. I would recommend that metal stems be
used with this product especially if the rubber stems on your rig or tow
vehicle are several years old. If the stem is of the longer variety, then
changing to a metal stem is even more important as you are putting a 1/2-2/3
oz weight at the end of the valve stem, so it will tend to work the stem to
some extent during travel and could lead to leakage or failure of the stem.

Compared to the internally rim mounted design, the PressurePro offers
simplier installation and does NOT require the external, rear mounted
antenna that most other designs have needed to pickup the trailer tire
sensor signals. On the downside, you may have to replace you valve stems
and the sensors could be seen as a potential theft item.

I received the following message and thought I would pass it along to the

Hey Tom, I just found this site. Great Site!!! Check out our 1973 Airstream.
www.miraclerecordingstudios.com. Click on LINKS than click on AIRSTREAM. We
paid $1000.00 for it and it is in great shape. We replaced the AC,
waterheater, stove, fridg.,12volt system, redid all the plumbing and gas
lines, new carpet, tile, and lots more. My wife and I put lots of blood,
sweat, and tears in it. We tried to keep everything original. I had to put a
new lock on the door ($525.00). WasThat a bum move or not????? That was the
going price from Airstream. I didn't want to rig something up. That would have
taken away the charm. Anyway, We're enjoying your site. Take Care, Tom

Daisy,

The sun is down here in New Mexico. Temps are 70s during the day and
high 40s to low 50s at night. Humidity in the teens.

Courtesy parking is currently a little temporary (hook up right at the
house) but is open.

COME ON DOWN

Subject: [VAL] Tow vehicle for sale -- Selling our 2001 Ford Excursion 4x4 Power Stroke diesel now

We are getting a new tow vehicle and we are having a *garage clearance Sale*.
;)

We have found a new 2005 Ford Excursion 4x4 Power Stroke diesel that we are
going to purchase next week so if you anyone is the least bit interested in
our used tow vehicle please act now.

Rather than trading in our used 2001 Ford XLT 4x4 7.3-L Power Stroke diesel to
the dealer so he can resell it for more money I am first going to offer it to
someone who could use a very good deal on a lightly used tow vehicle. If we
don't sell it to a private party we will be trading vehicles with the Ford
dealer but we'd rather give someone else a great deal instead.

If you are at all interested in a super tow vehicle for your Airstream travel
trailer which has lots of power and is cheap to feed and is expected to live a
long time you need to get in touch with me ASAP.

Please write to me personally at -- tmeeker@xxxxxxxxxx.rr.com and if you give me
a phone number along with your Email address I'd be happy to call you and tell
you about our 2001 Excursion that we purchased new just 3 years ago.

I am also going to sell our 1993 Toyota Celica ST coupe, 4-speed transmission,
color black. Again, a very good price will be offered and you may reach me at
the above Email address.
