    My understanding is no, it does not, because it was built by Silver 
Streak Trailer Co., a new company formed in 1949 that had no connection 
with or to Wally Byam.  But the similar 1947 to 1949 22' Clipper built 
by Curtis Wright Industries, Inc., does qualify its owner for membership 
in the WBCCI because C-W is the company Wally worked for after WW II.

    The 1953 Clipper would be welcome into the Tin Can Tourists vintage 
trailer club.

We should allow anything that's old shiny in my opinion!
I think there are some groups out there that are for vintage  trailers of any 
type!
Just seems that the shiny ones are the only ones that last forever!
