I am in Orange, CA. I can help you get organized, pro bono.
write to me at salwender@xxxxxxxxxx.net if you want me to give you a
hand.
I have good sources for packaging, shipping etc. through my business.
I know little to nothing about Silver Streak Trailers, but am assuming
that they're not too far off from Airstreams.

If you wanted to have some fun and had a way to transport it,
you could take it to WBCCI 50th International and have an
auction. But with that said, I'd sell it off on eBay, and use discription
with key words "Vintage, Airstream, Silver Streak, etc.." and
let all who want/need have a chance to buy. To cut down on
the number of Auctions, you could break it into lots of stuff that
make sense. I do think you should look into donating one of the
trailer to the trailer museun. You'll need the tax write-off after
all the income.

I agree with Mark emphatically, as I barely tolerate this email
popping up when I am doing serious medical research on line and I am
really upset when it is just trash. Dan's wife.

Chuck,
Did you replace the old split-rims on the 59? If so can you tell me what
you replaced them with?
Thanks

The folks at the e hub cap store are great, however be sure of your
measurements. My 1959 traveler requires a 101/4" hub cap and I thought I

would just get the 101/8 and make it work. So far I haven't been able to
get
it on there ... haven't tried the big hammer trick yet. I haven't been
able
to find a 101/4 hub cap yet either!

Has Ben posted any pictures. It would be neat to see these great old
trailers in pristine condition after being in storage all of these years.
Like looking in to King Tut's before everything was picked over..
