You can use most any thermostat you want as long as it has an
Air Cond. or COOL setting on it.
If you shop at your local hardware store you can even find
a simple thermostat for cooling only.
All it must to do is Close on Temperature Rise.

Be CAREFULL NOT to buy one with a mercury bulb as these depend on being level!
So each time you park it may perform diferently!
The cheapest ones are usually NON mercury and have a noticable "CLICK" when
calliing for cooling!

Hi all ,
I have been working on my other trailer , and trying to get the old heater
fired up . No go . Have any of you all gutted out a smaller trailer and would
you be willing to part with the Carlson heater ? Like if you dont trust it etc
...
Or generally I am interested in any gas appliance regulators burners etc
from 60`s trailers that look healthy or have a history of working ...

The rod that I am referring to is not a roll pin. Its about four inches long
and it holds the antanna to the base. The holes that the rod goes into on the
base can break real easy. If they break you have to simply replace the whole
base. jauman

We have an original Magic Chef Oven/Cooktop unit we removed from our 69
Safari 23'. We have it listed and pictured on Ebay if you want to take a look. We
really don't want any money for it, we just want to offer it to anyone looking
for original equipment or parts (it's free if you'll pick it up - asking price
on Ebay is $5.00). The cooktop works. The stove needs a new control valve,
which we didn't have much luck locating. It's in pretty good shape inside and
out despite the years. Anyway, thought I'd let you know it's here if someone is
looking for one. Contact me off list if you're interested and I can let you
know where we are and if its feasible for pickup, etc.. We would even consider
meeting you part way. I'm guessing at 55lb, shipping would be pretty cost
prohibitive. Thanks!
