Toby, there are several. I used one in Hudsonville, MI, following the 2000
Tuliptime Rally; unfortunately I cannot remember it's name. Forrest has
given you a link to another. If that's not close enough to you, try
searching Google with "rebuilt refrigeration units." I did that and found
<

,
www.gasrefrigeration.net/cabin_cooling_units.htm , www.rvcool.com, and many
others. I haven't looked at the actual sites, however.

I had been using a dewalt drill to compound with , as suggested on the nuvite and
64 globtrotter polishing sites . I just got a makita variable speed polisher , now
the dewalt will be used for drilling big holes which it is much more suited to .
The drill was too far from the surface and took much more effort to control . The
makita set about #2 or 2.5 is much easier to handle and cut faster ,or so it seemed
. Much easier to use particularly on the roof and ends . Model 9227c .

Subject: [VAL] Another '56 Caravanner question

Hello All,

Thanks to all for the for the info on my earlier 1956 Caravanner
window/screen question. I have one more related question now that I'm ready
to put it all back together again. There are two braces that run across the
window opening in the trailer. The window crank bolts to one and the window
latch bolts to the other. These braces are riveted to the frame of the
window with tiny rivets that look like they are flattened with some sort of
punch from both sides. They are not pop-rivets. I'll be removing and
re-attaching the braces, and I'd like to use the original style rivets. Does
anyone (especially R.J. Dial [Hi R.J.!]) know what these rivets are, and
where to get them?

Thanks again,
Brian Jenkins

Hello all,

Does anyone have an available spare jalousie window like the ones found in the
doors of '60s Bambis, Bambi IIs and '65 Caravels? If so, email me off-list
with a price and location.

Thanks,
Wally

I have one too, Chris, and agree that it's a great tool for the job.
