I went to wooden blinds. Big mistake to count only on them for privacy at
night. The spaces between the slats allow someone on the outside a pretty
good view of the inside when the lights are on. The blinds do look nice
however.

I have to place another cover over the wooden blinds to prevent everything
inside from being visible.

Black water holding tank for 65 Caravel

After almost two years of rebuilding our 65 Caravel we finally got down to
the last problem, the release valve on the black water holding tank. All it
would take (we thought) was to drop some of the under belly and replace the
valve, then we planned on starting the polishing process so we could join the
rest of you at one of those rallies! When we dropped the underbelly, lo and
behold the entire bathoom floor was rotted and the holding tank has three
major cracks in it. After more inspection I found that the entire toilet needs
to go. My question is, where do I find a holding tank that will fit in the
small space provided, or can I fix the existing holding tank with fiberglass?

Please note that not all mapping programs give all the information needed.
East Saginaw is one way. It runs east toward East Lansing and Oakland runs

OK then ....

Daisy has asked and I'm sure more want to know the below:
    Who's at the airport?
    Who's at the armory?
    Who's at the Lansing Center?

Does anyone have access to the Airstream who where? rally information? If
so, please cough it up. ;)

It would be nice to know *where* the WBCCI Intra-Clubs have been assigned to
congregate. Like Daisy asked, who's where?

Back in the archives, its been mentioned that there are a few companies
that can make custom plastic tanks at a reasonable price. Take them the
pieces and they can make a stronger new one to fit. But I don't remember
their name. Ask again tomorrow, I might have kept some of those posts.

Demolition was straight forward, remove belly pan and galv. pan which held it
all in place, now i need some input from some one who has patched it all back
together before.
Any experts out there who can provide insite into this project.

All-Rite Plastics made my fresh water tank to my exact dimensions. I'm sure
they can make a black water one quite easily. Mine was right to size, not
over or under by 1/16". Good thing because it fit exactly as drawn up. They
even put in the threaded openings exactly where specified without extra
cost. They're at all-rite.com and can work from faxed drawings. I had to go
through my RV store without any mark-up though.
