So why don't you (who so respects the hallowed written articles of the group show us
where the above exclusionary rule is written. If it is not written why don't you
propose an amendment to the current articles (constitution,by-laws etc) through the
proper channels of which you seem to have so much respect?

My Goodness do you Wallyites actually swear an oath..? Upon what? A bolt of Blue Fancy!??
Warned by whom? Is there a provision for a judicial branch or officer?

> "then released to join whatever
> other organization suits their fancy".

So a member must be given permission to join another organization..?? Holy Monococque!
I guess before that oath yall lined up and signed a non-compete contract ?? hmmm?????

Hmmmm again, Not that you would or (are) doing just that! ???????

>"YOU HAVE A CHOICE IN THE MATTER, don't renew your membership".

Sort of reminds me of what the MTV rap promoters say about changing the channel.

>"Those of us who are active have made the choice to change
> the organization in a pro-active way".

This post of yours sounds alot more re-active than Pro active to me.

>"Toby has the right spirit when he says "changing the club in whatever

I have no doubt that the day will arrive when you and Toby and a 'few' others will
see all your WBCCI wishes met.
Have patience .In the interim kick back with a good book...maybe something about
Whooping Cranes.

doing the best I possibly can and making the most of what I have instead of dreaming

Come on folks. This subject has been done and overdone. Lets have no more

Hi Steve,

Is your unit a single axle or tandem? If it is tandem, I might have tires
that you could use. Of course, a single axle requires a much heavier tire.
I have a Safari '69 single axle 23' and an Argosy '74 tandem axle 22'

Too bad you are so far away as I have 4 Carlisle 700-15 that turned out to
be too large (29 inch diameter) for my '74 Argosy. Had to go with the
Goodyear 225s (28 inch diameter). After installing the Carlisle's on the
rims, I had to have them taken off. Once on the rims, there isn't any
possibility of exchange. So, they sit on a shelf in my garage.

If you are interested, I can provide you with exact specification for the
Carlisle's. They are bias 6 ply rated for trailer use, not radials. Some
like radials, some don't. I was going back to what was available when the
trailer was manufactured.
These were on/off the rims, never rolled on the road. Date of manufacture
is now about one year ago as I got them as fresh as possible. Maybe $20
each? Most likely shipped UPS from 24589.

Regards,

                                                     '69 Safari, Joy

Greetings Joy;
Just read your e-mail directed to Steve. If Steve can not use those tires
for some reason, let me know for I have a '73 Sovereign that uses those same
tires.
We can talk off line if you wish. Thanks......David.

Hi All,

I have a set of fender mount turnbuckle Trailer-Vue mirrors that I
found behind the goucho of my 54 FC. They are all chrome and the
original box has a picture of an Airstream with what looks like a Buick
towing with the mirrors attached to the front bumpers. Real Cool!!!
Sticker says $29.95!! The instruction sheet is missing and the parts
are disassembled to fit in the box so I haven't taken the time to see
how they work. Anyone have them?

Shari Davis has done a great job putting together the new Denver Unit Web
site. Everyone on the list should check it out. It's beautiful - a work of
art, and very informative.

Hi Patti,
I have a set that may be "Trailer-Vue" and certainly look like what yours
sound like. I can send you a photo of them assembled if you like. This may
help out your puzzle process.

David,

There is one WBCCI unit for the state of Minnesota. However before you get
disheartened, you never know where most of the members live within the
state, nor do you know where they hold their activities. Give it a try for a
year. Attend as many of their activities as you can. You will never know
until you try. You may be pleasantly suprised or you might be turned off.
But you will never know until you give it a try.

The Minnesota Unit's membership chairman is Gary Burnham, 22124 Woodland Ln,
Rogers, MN 55374. If you can't get a hold of him send me an email, I can
provide contact info for the other officers.

Hello,
I have a drawing that I can send when I get it scanned. I'll be out on
the road for the next week but can provide it when I return. It's a
diagram I used when I asked the previous owner "how the heck do these go
together?" he sent me this diagram. Luckily I printed it because I can't
find the electronic file. He also said he would send me the missing
parts as soon as my check cleared!

Well said Wayne. Airstreamers, young and old have their choice of the type
Airstreaming they like. Some enjoy the scheduled, touring rally. Others
like just camping and sitting around a fire and dicussing what went wrong
with the old lady now rally. Whatever is your taste, do it, have fun and
remember:
Be who you are, do what you want,
because those that mind, don't matter
and those that matter don't mind.
