Even slicker would be to get some of that "hardware store" aluminum that comes in a roll (what I have is 10" wide and about 0.020" thick) for a couple of bucks. Cover the foam with it and secure with the tape you are talking about. Decent set of tin snips and it shouldn't take much time at all. GQ '67 Safari
