Huff,
 If you don't fix whatever cooked the water from your batteries over Winter
(I assume you must have left it "plugged in"), you'll experience short life
from those Gel Cells. They're far less forgiving of poor charging techniques
than regular ol' wet cell batteries.

Get an Inteli-Power converter with Charge Wizard and another pair of GC
batteries. You'll thank me.
