That is a great idea.  I will have to do that when I use my 1953 Criuser.

This is probably why Airstream went to the jalousie window in the late 50's?
early 60's.

Before the jalousie window, you could probably tell who owned an airstream
at a campground just
by looking at the children running around with cut and bruised faces .  :-)
