Thank you to all who posted information and the great web sites on 
fireplace info. There are a lot of options out there and a wide range 
of prices and safety concerns; the propane burners appearing to be 
safer and the open flame, wood burners more atmosphere (ambiance??) but 
with a huge caveat about installation in boats/RVs with propane cook 
stoves. I assume the idea of a gas source in combo with open flame 
being problematic. A boat will burn to the water line so I guess a TT 
will burn to the rims. Ugly thought. In the redesign of my AS interior, 
that's one reason I'm putting the bunk in front by the door instead of 
the original rear location. If I hear a smoke alarm, I intend to be a 
quarter mile away before I quit running. But I gotta have a 
stove/heater or fireplace so lots of homework to do.
