[VACList] mystery switch & wire

my  67 22' safari has a switch above the door that looks orig but does nothing
porch lite & h2o pump have there own switches  any ideas?
 also there is a 12v wire in the rear "ALL IN ONE DOOR" above the city h2o 
hook
up not hooked up, is orig AL wire & comes out of a plastic gromit same used
on other wires, was it for a lite
