[VACList] Floor Repairs



Hi Corbin,

Sorry I didn't make that clear. The hole that is cut around the damaged 
floor area should angle inward at the bottom just like your illustration. 
This allows the patch to be put in place like the cork in a bottle, needing 
no other support than the surrounding mitered edges of the hole. This method 
wouldn't be possible without modern marine epoxy (it is incredibly strong). 
It takes some patience to get a perfect fit, but I think that this is the 
most elegant method for patching a hole. There are no braces, nails, or 
screws. When you are finished, you've replaced exactly what you've removed 
and the structural integrity is unchanged.
