THOR CONSOLIDATES U.S. TOWABLE LEAD UNDER THOMPSON'S GUIDANCE

Thor Industries, Inc. Chairman Wade F.B. Thompson became the country's dominant
player in the towable RV sector in 2002, in large part because of strong performances
by two Goshen, Indiana-based subsidiaries, Dutchmen Mfg. Inc. and Keystone RV
Company. Thor-owned companies now account for around 28% of U.S. retail
travel-trailer and fifth-wheel sales, about twice that of their closest competitor. And
even though the company's transit bus sales softened in 2002, Thor's revenues grew
51% in fiscal 2002 to exceed a billion dollars for the first time since the company
entered the RV arena in 1980 with the purchase of Airstream Inc.

Now Jackson Center, Ohio-based Thor appears poised to further expand its market
share and revenues because it has been adding capacity at its Keystone, Thor
California and Dutchmen facilities. In addition, Thor apparently is looking to enhance
its position through additional acquisitions because Thompson is convinced, as he told
analysts earlier in 2002, that "The RV industry is ripe for consolidation, and we aim to
be the consolidator."
