You got that right.  The last thing you need is for your new engine to
blow 200 miles from Joe Schmutluck's Rebuilt Engine and Sausage shop.

Bite the bullet and get something that will last.  There's no way you
can tell me you can't find a rebuilt 454 engine...there too many made
and too many currently on the road.

Stay away from the "we can get you a Thunderbolt engine for $995.
