Bob, I'd recommend against putting a tarp on the roof or skin of an Airstream. The wind will cause the tarp to move around and it will scratch the skin when dust and grit blow underneath the tarp. The skin will be marked when you pull the tarp off. Jim Greene ' 68 Tradewind
