Hi Toby,
    I've used those small kits and didn't even have that much luck with
cracks on my dash.  I am pretty sure they are not heavy duty enough to span
a 3" round hole.  BTW I filled the hole with SS wool, so I am only concerned
about the surface.

Perhaps I could find a piece of the textured surface with backing in a
hidden area of the coach and do a transplant :)
