I recall that in an earlier post to this list someone recommended coating
all non-aluminum fasteners including stainless with aluminum oxide before
installation.  (Aluminum oxide is available at any pharmacy.)  This was
intended to retard the galvanic action between dissimilar metals.  Am I
remembering this post correctly?
