Cleco pliers pull a pin out of the extended split sleeve
allowing the sleeve to fit through the holes in both pieces of
aluminum. Once the split sleeve is through the 
material, release the pliers and the pin is spring
loaded and runs back down through the split sleeve,
thus expanding it. The tips of the split sleeve have
small bumps that hold the backside of the bottom
aluminum and pulls the two or more pieces of 
aluminum togather for a tight fit until each hole
is riveted.
