[VAC] Re: Furnace Trouble



         This is fairly common with this vintage furnace- these have a cast 
iron burner, and the burner slots tend to rust shut- opening the air 
adjustment will usually allow enough flow to ignite the LP, but the burner 
really needs to pulled and cleaned. If it is the model I think it is, the 
burner should come out the front, if it is the previous model, the burner 
needs to come out the back- so the whole furnace needs to be pulled- which 
is a good idea  in any case.

         Note that if the burner comes out the front, you can update the 
burner to a new stainless steel burner for a fairly nominal cost.
