[VAC] Re: Tongue weight

The tongue weight rating of you vehicle is the rating of the vehicle frame and hitch mount.
It is a simplified definition of the range of weights the mount would be exposed to while
towing.
You can reduce the static weight by transferring the load toward the rear of the coach.
Unfortunately this will result in a very unstable tow. The ratio of tongue weight to towed
weight requires approximately a tongue weight of approximately 10% of the weight of the
towed trailer.
Simply put, there is no way to make you trailer a safe and satisfactory tow with the
vehicle you now have.
