[VAC] Plasticoat

I have another question about repairing small areas.  I have an aerosol can
from Airstream but need a method to make small repairs along seams and
around rivets, etc.  My question, is their a substitute clear coat paint
that can be applied with a small brush to avoid overspray?  I am not trying
to blend or expecting it to match exactly, but rather stop very small areas
from becoming big areas.  Thanks
