         Yes!- the Intellipower fuses are only there to guard against 
hooking it up to a battery backwards- they will not blow on an overload 
(the Intellipower will actually just shut down on an overload)- depending 
on which model you have, it could easily put enough power out to "smoke" 
some wiring.

         I would be amazed if there wasn't some sort of individual circuit 
fusing, though.
