[VAC] 1965 Black tank

Hey guys,
	I know last year sometime we had a discussion about the possibilities of 
welding cracks in a black tank.  Does anyone know if a black tank from 1965 
is made of something fixable?  I noticed a slight odor last time we were 
camping and got to poking around today and there is a small crack in the 
top of the tank. Not enough to leak unless it was really full and 
traveling, but enough to smell.  So, any ideas out there?
