Gwen,

If your dog(s) are not very large or dedicated
escapers (like my beagle.. sigh) you might try
Petco (commone in Oregon... don't know if this is
a widespread chain). Petco carries at least three
different sizes of a pretty portable lightweight
fencing. They fold into about 2.5 or 3 foot wide
segments and up to about 4.5 or 5 feet tall. My
parents have two and hook them together for a
larger run. I have seen these at other places
like Fred Meyer (also Oregon).
