I stripped my 76 A/S earlier this year and used the
Bix spray on stripper. It comes in a gal container and you use plastic spray
bottles. Get several cheap one since they will go bad after a while. Spray it
on, let it set a while,use a plastic scrub brush and rinse. Wear gloves. Works
great. The only area that I had any problems with seals was around the top of
the windows. Reapplied a bead of valkum and no leaks.
