I just did that to my 1970 front curved windows with no problem, I drilled
partially thru the inner glass to weaken it, then used a small hammer and
screwdriver to break the inner glass, it will shatter like a rear window on
a car. Be careful, wear safety glasses and tap lightly, just enough to break
the glass.   good luck
