I have a 1953 single axle Overlander with leaf
springs (not TorkFlex). From what I have read here, It may be
cheaper (and safer) just to replace the whole axle/break/spring assembly rather than restore the original. Has anyone done this on an older single axle, conventional spring, 12 inch breakdrum unit?
