I am thinking about doing the same for my '66 Safari which has a simple flat
rectangular front window.  Your suggestion sounds like a neat and practical
solution.

Later model trailers, however, have three piece windows that wrap around the
curved front corners of the trailer body and it would be far beyond my
capability to home-build anything that would look satisfactory and fit.
