[VAC] Re: 7 Pin Wiring Electrical Connector

The Blue wire is the Charging wire from your tow vehicle to the coach
battery.
It is used as a backfeed wire from the coach to your break away switch for
your electric brakes.
The small metal unit is the circuit breaker. In the remote event that your
trailer should break a ball off the receiver or your pin should fall out and
the trailer comes loose from the car the break away cable will actuate the
switch and inturn apply voltage to the electric brakes. This is why its
important to have a fully charged coach battery while towing.
Ill pass on the running light question. Dr J has expounded in his usual
thoroughness and detail hope all this helps you get on the road sooner!!
