For what it's worth, the '65 owner's manual shows these colors for the leads
on the trailer side.  My '65 Caravel was wired exactly like this, but I
wouldn't take it as gospel.  Over the years, previous owners may have
rewired the connector using different colors.  I suggest you only use this
as a starting point, and test each lead with a battery before connecting it
to the new style connector with standard configuration.

This is the trailer side view of the old the old style connector with 7
round pins.  The groove (or ridge) on the plug housing is between 4 and 3.
