I think the IH Travelalls that got into snow belt states have all
dissolved in piles of rust. A friend had one, but got tired of
rebuilding the engine. His had a center camshaft bearing mounted on a
steel plate that bolted to the engine block casting, but over time that
plate would shift putting a bind on the camshaft wrecking its bearings
if it didn't break the camshaft. After several engine rebuilds he hunted
up something handier to haul his double bass (and his wife's double
bass).
