Treating an Airstream like a moble home for title purposes is probably more
common than you would think.

My grandfather purchased our Overlander back in 1960. It always had "house
vehicle" plates on it even though "trailer" plates were available. So even
though it wasn't titled as a mobile home, it was liscensed as one! It was
not until the mid 80's that we got that one straightened out.
