I second your elegant report on the state-of-the-art of the
various lighting technologies.  I am going with cool white fluros
replacing all the overhead oval original fixtures.

I believe that a mix in the color temperature of various light sources
add atmosphere so, in addition to the fluros, I have a couple of soft
AC's with 15 watt pulbs and I maintain all the original bullet light with
the lowest watt bulbs I can find.

Overall feeling is pleasing.
