[VAC] Re: Stupid Newbie Question....

First, no such thing as a stupid question...

Stupid answers, on the other hand...

Set the oven knob on pilot.
Take a butane grill lighter, so you can see while and what you are
lighting.

Get down on your hands and knees and put your head down so you can see
under there.

Hold the lighter flame on the place where the lines come together.
It may take it a minute, there is only a little bit of gas coming out,
and sometimes it needs to warm up first ( maybe a thermocouple ?)

If you haven't used the stove, and the gas was turned off, you should
run the stove burner until they light. Air gets in the lines and you
need to burp it out. Otherwise you will get a cramp scootched down
trying to light the oven while the air gets out very slowly.

Not very technical, but give it a try.

Rule #1 if it don't work, clean it.
Rule #2 if you don't know how and it has to do with gas, get a pro.
	 Don't cheap out and die.
